Living Better Named Official Charity Partner
We are delighted to announce our participation as the official charity partner for the eagerly awaited AEPG Great Eastern Run 2024. As the official charity partner, we can offer and encourage people to do something amazing by taking on the challenge of the 13.1-mile half-marathon or Anna’s Fun Run 5K route and be part of the team. By joining the Living Better group of runners, supporters will be actively contributing to the health, happiness, and well-being of the people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. This is a brilliant opportunity for everyone, whether you’re an experienced athlete or a beginner of any ability, to embrace the challenge and fundraise for a good cause.
New and Improved Great Eastern Run Route Revealed
The event launch, held on 19 August at the historic Peterborough Cathedral, officially revealed the newly refined route for this year’s Great Eastern Run, shaped by valuable feedback from participants and supporters following last year’s event.
The updated route has been carefully designed to improve the overall experience for runners, spectators, and supporters while also making the event more inclusive and accessible. Organisers have introduced improvements to better accommodate wheelchair participants, creating a smoother and more accessible course that allows more people to take part comfortably and confidently. These changes reflect the event’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that individuals of all abilities can enjoy and participate in one of Peterborough’s most celebrated community sporting events.

Living Better’s involvement in this highlights their commitment to encouraging active lifestyles across all demographics in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire. By partnering with Good Running Events to work on The AEPG Great Eastern Run 2024, we aim to inspire more individuals to become more physically active by participating, thereby improving their health and well-being.
