We hope you enjoy your time on our Living Better Website, learning about how we’re changing lives across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and discovering how you can get involved, whether that is making a much welcomed donation, as a participant in one of our programmes or as a partner as you share our values and share joint outcomes with what we are trying to do.

1. DEFINITIONS

1a. “Living Better” means Living Better Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Sports Partnership Limited (Registered Charity No 1124122 | Company No 5894596), including its wholly owned sub-brands, Living Better and Forever Active.
1b. “Website” means any Living Better and Living Better owned or controlled website linking to these terms, including related domains and microsites such as Forever Active.
1c. “Material” means all content available on the website.

2. GENERAL

2a. Living Better reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by posting changes online. Your continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms and conditions. 

2b. Living Better takes no responsibility for the content of external internet sites that we link to that are owned and operated by third parties; Living Better has no control over them, and we do not approve of, or endorse, any other third-party website or its content.  

2c. Some products, services or events will have their own rules or specific terms of use which will apply and which you must comply with.

3. USE OF OUR WEBSITE

3a. When you first use this site, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, you must not use this website. 

3b. You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner which does not infringe the rights of, or restrict, or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the website by, any third party. 

3c. You must not knowingly misuse our website as per the Computer Misuse Act 1990 (as amended). We will report any breach to the relevant law enforcement authority, sharing your identity with them, and fully restricting access to our website.

The Living Better logo may not be used without written permission (email marketing@living-better.org.uk), and your site must not conflict with Living Better’s values and aims. 

4. DONATION PAYMENTS and FUNDRAISING 

4a. We operate in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) v4.0.1 but any data transferred is at your own risk. 

4b. If you donate via our website, you must be the authorised user of the card and have permission and funds to make the relevant payment. 

4c. Living Better proudly works with the Fundraising Regulator to uphold high standards in open, honest and cost-effective fundraising to improve the health, happiness and wellbeing by supporting people to be active. By joining the Fundraising Regulator, we agree to adhere to the Code of Fundraising Practice and the Fundraising Promise. 

5. OUR LIABILITY

5a. We aim to ensure the content on this website is accurate and helpful, but it is provided for general information only. We do not accept liability for any loss or damage resulting from reliance on information on this website, except where liability cannot be excluded by law. 

5b. Living Better does not accept any liability for any loss or damage caused by viruses or any other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer (software or hardware) due to your use of our website or downloading any content or using any links to other websites.
